A Rhodope folk song, sung by Rumen Rhodopski and accompanied by Kaba Gaida. The Kaba Gaida is a traditional Bulgarian bagpipe instrument coming from the Rhodope Mountains. It is similar to the Gaida, a bagpipe made out of sheep or goat hide coming from Southeastern Europe and the Balkans. The stocks and the drone a normally made out of wood or animal horn. The blowpipe is wooden or bone. The drone which is a constant, low harmony tone, is mostly an E.
